  • This will cause a popup window to appear saying "AnyConnect is requesting permission to set up a VPN connection that will allow it to monitor network traffic. Only allow this if you trust the source. An icon will be shown at the top of your screen while the VPN is in use. Allow?" Select OK.
  • At this point, you are connected to the DalVPN.

Turn off VPN

  • When you are done using the VPN, open the Cisco AnyConnect app. You should be at the AnyConnect screen.
  • Turn the AnyConnect VPN switch off. This turns the VPN off.

If you experience any issues please let the us know by emailing support@dal.ca.

If you have worked with ITS to set up the VPN in the past for specialized software, the new VPN may not have your work group set up yet. These issues are currently being processed.
